Masta Ace and MF DOOM’s ‘MA DOOM’ Album Release Date Set For November




The legendary Masta Ace recently revealed some information about the finally-complete project.

Masta Ace of the legendary Juice Crew revealed last week that he has finally completed work on his joint album with producer/MC DOOM. The album, to be titled MA DOOM: Son of Yvonne will be released in November, according to the rapper.

“Finally handed in [MA DOOM:Son of Yvonne] album!,” Masta Ace wrote on Twitter last week. The rapper seemed elated to wrap up the project, which has been rumored to be in the works for some time. The album features raps by Masta Ace and production from DOOM.

Masta Ace also revealed the guests on the project, saying that the only artists featured on the album are Big Daddy Kane and New York crooner Pav Bundy. Ace said that he tried to get a verse from DOOM on the project, but it never materialized. “Never got that DOOM verse unfortunately but still very happy wit it,” the Brooklyn rapper wrote.

According to a response to one fan, the album is due out this November. Masta Ace did not indicate which imprint will play home to the collaboration.

In other Masta Ace news, the wordsmith recently released a six-disc collection of greatest hits, called Hits U Missed. Which is available only from MastaAce.com. In addition, Masta Ace has announced that he’s currently planning a 10-year anniversary re-release for his critically-acclaimed Disposable Arts album.
