Good article via BrokeandFamous Thanks shot out to C.Monts!!! Enjoy!
I downloaded the new B.Lewis album today. It’s a 30 track strong release that I highly recommend downloading and sharing with friends. B.Lewis seems to be getting better and better. Science Within Reason is bananas.
While listening to the album I did some research into the man behind the artwork for B’s recent and past releases. Jordan Yee is a San Fran based designer with a great style. Bold colours and a great eye for a good photo. His design work is a perfect match for B.Lewis’ ill style. killer combo!
You can see more of Jordan’s work and photographs here
Foreign Beggars Concert in Barcelona 4th March 2011 Sala Razzmatazz
Foreign Beggars are a critically acclaimed British Rap, Grime and Dubstep group based in London. The group consists of MCs Orifice Vulgatron, Metropolis, producer Dag Nabbit and DJ Nonames and are renowned for their eclectic and energetic live shows. Currently performing well over a hundred shows a year the group has performed with a number of high profile artists spanning a range of musical genres. Foreign Beggars release their records through Dented Records a label which was created and owned by the group to support their own material and a host of UK underground artists.

A couple years back The Alchemist and Stones Throw's Oh No announced they would be working on their own Jaylib-style hip-hop collab under the name Gangrene. Defying the list of announced hip-hop collabs that never see the light of day, Gangrene has just emerged. The album is called Gutter Water and it is being released on the Decon label.
Starting from the album title, there's no mistaking the style of Gutter Water: drums smothered that go-jump-off-a-bridge, rusty-nail-in-the-eye, nasty toilet bowl rawness, the kind of grimy music both of these producers have spent a decade perfecting.
Oh No has worked with Stones Throw for over 10 years, first appearing on Lootpack's Soundpieces album. His string of solo albums including the Dr. No's Oxperiment and Dr. No's Ethiopium rival the work of his older brother Madlib in the dusty, psychedelic hip-hop sound.
The Alchemist rose in the late 1990s as an associate of Dilated Peoples and Mobb Deep and proved himself as one of hip-hop's most sought-after producers - as the LA Times wrote, “working with anyone who wants to create murky sonics that hint of just having crawled out of the La Brea Tar Pits.”
Special Thanks to Yaya for the pics!!!
Incredible day with two of the best Hip Hop Producer on the Planet! They support us on the stage...
